Our Mission

Licking County Arts exists to provide leadership in the development of art education, exhibitions, and outreach programming. To be a liaison for artists, not-for-profit organizations, businesses, and government in partnerships that develop art opportunities in Licking County.

Our History

Established in 1968, Licking County Arts is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing leadership in the development of art education and exhibitions to residents of Licking County, Ohio. It serves as a liaison for artists, organizations, businesses, and government agencies in forming partnerships that develop diverse art opportunities for the artists and lovers of art in Licking County and the surrounding area. Won't you join us as we share and encourage experiencing the arts here at home! This organization is run entirely by volunteers. Your time and talent would be greatly appreciated.

Where Are We Located?

Licking County Arts has a Gallery Shop located at 50 S 2nd Street in downtown Newark, Ohio where you can see and purchase art made by local LCA artists and also meet some of our artists in person.  It is run entirely by our members who volunteer their time and is open from Monday through Saturday from 11:30-3:30.
