It's Inktober!

I've committed myself to Inktober 2017, but I am going to do it my way, with respect and homage to creator Jake Parker. I made up my own theme: STUFF I HAVE AROUND THE HOUSE and my 'rules': I will allow some pre-drawing, but not dwelling on it. All inks are fine including ballpoint, water soluble, color and sundry pens

And I am using a Fabriano sketchbook. The paper's smooth, but maybe too fine. Check out Jake's Youtubes and the countless others for inspiration. It's a personal challenge and a great way to hone your skills. I hope to draw a little better. And maybe improve on the dreaded hatching. Here's my first one. Try it. You might like it.
